Passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Herbert Simons (former owner of Simons Printing Service) of Alexandria; age 70 years. Beloved husband of Evelyne Simons (nee Lapensee). Loving father of Kimberly Simons. Dear son of the late Percy Simons and the late Amilya Richter. Brother of William 'Bill' (Claudette), late Astrida Watters and Ivan (Senga). Brother-in-law of the late Madeleine Seguin (Roger), Rita Campeau (Claude), Alain Lapensee (Carole), Louise Lapensee (Barry Ranger) and Michel Lapensee (Celine Levac). Herbert will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Herbert’s wishes, services will be kept private following cremation. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, (613-525-2772). Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family. As a memorial to Herbert, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows – memories live.
